This Week in the Garden: Rain, Rain, and More Rain

It has been yet another soggy so-called-summer week in the garden last week's brief taste of sunshine, but things are looking (briefly) better in the forecast so I have high hopes of tackling so of my garden to-dos and outdoor chores.  Trying to keep up with the wildly growing wet weather lawn using a reel mower (very efficient, but a nightmare in long grass) has been impossible this summer and the weeds are out of control. No need for watering the gardens around here this year! What's happening in and around your garden this week?  Whatever your garden/green news, we would love to hear about it. Please leave a comment or post us a message on the GiRL Facebook page I look forward to sharing our garden with you as it grows.

P.S. In cased you missed the news, we shared two additions to our popular free garden planner/journal printables last week: an expansion pack of extra mix-and-match printable worksheets to go with the garden planner and a special collection of printable garden activity sheets for kids to help grow the next generation of gardeners and nature lovers. Enjoy your new freebies!
