Here & Now

It's time for the December Here & Now post as part of the monthly link-up hosted by  Sarah of Say! Little Hen.  You can find this month's links in the December Here & Now at Say! Little Hen to explore what's happening in everyone's Here & Now - please join us if you wish!  I am currently:

Loving // Long hours of daylight.
Eating //  Leftover sweets that I made for friends' weekend wedding events. Can't. Help. Self. Chocolate truffle anyone?
Drinking //  Coffee! Some things never change...
Feeling // More than a little behind.  I really need to just get on with it and finish my Christmas shopping! Eeek!
Making //  Chocolates, marzipan, hokey pokey, toffee, brittle, fudge, and all things naughty (see Eating above.)
Thinking // Christmas is almost here! How did that happen? Where has the time gone?
Dreaming // Of warm sunshine and drier weather to better enjoy our "summer" days.

Since last month's Here & Now, all those lovely little fruit have been growing fat and the berries are ripening on the vines. I picked my first blackberries of the season just yesterday. :) Everything has been growing like mad in the garden with our unusually wet and cool weather this far through the late spring and into our early summer. My summer clothes still hasn't made it out of storage for the summer/winter swap over.  Sorry to make my Aussie Here & Now friends jealous, but take solace that it's been too wet and windy to enjoy the long cool days.

Curious to see more?  Let's stay in touch! You can follow along here at Green in Real Life (links on the sidebar) for my urban garden adventures with a sprinkle of everyday greener living, drop by Creativity Unmasked for my creative and crafty side, or head to the dogs at Dalmatian DIY for homemade treats, toys, and other pet posts. See you again soon!

  1. Loving all the purple in your garden - bet the bees are too. Yes - roll on summer, those few days last week weren't enough.

    1. It certainly doesn't feel very summery today. I'm sure soon enough we'll be complaining about the hot dry weather, but no time soon around here based on the long range forecast for the next couple of weeks. Wet wet wet. It will be a very lush green Christmas as a silver lining.

  2. Gosh those flowers are all just so pretty! I could stare at them all day.
Enjoy those sweets - it is the festive season after all :-)

Thanks so much for joining in again!

    1. Thanks, Sarah! Hubby saved me from myself by polishing the last of the leftover truffles off last night. ;)

  3. Stunning pictures! There's so much colour here - it's lovely to see! :) Amazing post. xx

Thanks ever so much for leaving us a comment! We read every one and appreciate you taking the time to say hello and share your thoughts.
