Here & Now

It's time for our September Here & Now post as part of the monthly link-up hosted by Sarah of Say! Little Hen.  You can find all of this month's participants and their links in the September Here & Now at Say! Little Hen to explore what's happening in everyone's Here & Now - please join us if you wish!  I am currently:

Loving //  Spring flowers and blossoms. They cheer up even the soggiest of wet spring walks.
Eating //  Too many treats. Sigh.  Cold weather makes me want (too much) comfort food.
Drinking //  Big bowl lattes with a sprinkle of cinnamon cold wet mornings.
Feeling //   So very sad watching our senior dog Oli struggle with vision loss. Fingers crossed for cataract surgery later this year.
Making // Doggy birthday cake for Humphrey's third birthday. My baby is so grown up. Where does the time go?
Thinking //  That my to-do list is far to long. Busy times!
Dreaming // Of sunshine and warm weather.

I missed the August Here & Now link up during our blogging break last month. Since we last caught up in our July Here & Now, winter has rolled into springtime - although you'd never know with our cold and soggy start to the season! Rain, hail, wind, and wild weather. Brr... In more exciting news, it's confirmed that we'll be moving again soon, most likely in our autumn if all goes to plan so I have another cycle of growing and nurturing in our new/old garden before I say farewell and start work on the next garden.  Sometimes I feel a bit like the garden fairy, cycling through houses and leaving young gardens for the (hopeful) enjoyment of the owners to come. Oh well! Perhaps we'll be long enough in the next house for me to watch things grow a little!

Curious to see more?  Let's stay in touch! You can follow along here at Green in Real Life (links on the sidebar) for my urban garden adventures with a sprinkle of everyday greener living, drop by Creativity Unmasked for my creative and crafty side, or head to the dogs at Dalmatian DIY for homemade treats, toys, and other pet posts.

  1. Oh your spring blooms are lovely, I can almost smell those freesias. What is the last plant in your photos?

    1. That tree is in our local park, so I'm not 100% sure but I think it is a box elder. Aren't the dangling tendrils lovely?

  2. It's hard having to move regularly when you enjoy gardening! I hope your move goes well and you get to plant your feet for a little bit longer next time.
Thanks so much for joining in again Laura!
