Here & Now

It's time for our June Here & Now post as part of the monthly link-up hosted by Sarah of Say! Little Hen. You can find all of this month's participants and their links in the June Here & Now at Say! Little Hen to explore what's happening in everyone's Here & Now - please join us if you wish!  I am currently:

Loving //  Winter woolies. I need to dig out the rest of my cold weather clothes as it's getting mighty chilly on dog walks.
Eating //  Nothing at the moment, but the tummy is rumbling.  Dinner time approaches.
Drinking //  No wine...can you believe it?  It's been a few weeks now - the warm-up for Dry July.
Feeling //  Chilly!  Brrrr...winter...
Making //  Homemade dog treats for my furbabies.
Thinking //  It's time to start my Christmas shopping. I know!  But international snail mail deadline will be here before we know it.
Dreaming //  Of spring flowers. The magnolias are already growing big fat furry buds. Yay!

Since last month's Here & Now, thing have been much the same...just ever shorter, darker, and cooler days!  They will be growing longer by the time we meet again for next month's Here & Now. :) Most of our autumn leaves have fallen and faded, but there are still some gorgeous bright colours lingering in patches, like these gorgeous leaves (and flowers - rather matchy indeed!) photographed on an afternoon walk earlier today.

Curious to see more?  Let's stay in touch! You can follow along here at Green in Real Life (links on the sidebar) for my urban garden adventures with a sprinkle of everyday greener living, drop by Creativity Unmasked for my creative and crafty side, or head to the dogs at Dalmatian DIY for homemade treats, toys, and other pet posts. See you again soon!

    1. Thanks so much, Meg! The colours are beautiful but are now disappearing quickly into dull dark bare winter; however, spring will be where before we know it (I hope...). :)

  2. Gosh the colours are so rich around you at the moment! How beautiful :-)
You do start your Christmas shopping early! Better to be organised though than stressing at the end :-)

Thanks so much for joining in again Laura!

    1. Thanks, Sarah! I aspire to be better organised about my holiday shopping and shipping, but am not usually very successful on the follow-through! Christmas goals...sigh.

  3. You are an organised shopper Laura! Though I admit I like to buy presents early too..the trouble is keeping them secret! I always want to give right away lol! :-) The leaves are so beautiful and golden...none of the trees will behave like that here! Someone should talk to them :-) Megan x
