I'm hopeful that last week wasn't our full "summer" but things have been back to grey and blustery this week with more wet and wild weather on the way. The garden is still looking good after it's brief injection of sunshine and the occasional glimmer this week, so I can't complain too much. I even managed to find a little weather window in which to mow the lawns. Small victories! Unfortunately, shortly thereafter winds dropped some large branches and lots of storm torn twigs and leaves so I have some clean-up chores to tackle when things clear. Further afield in the local neighbourhood (pictures below) the trees are clearly prepping for autumn, but things are still looking pretty green and glorious, nasty weather considering. Things have been rather uncooperative wind-wise for nature photos this week, but it's nice to have a little bit of dry (drier...) weather to at least be out and about with the camera. What's happening in and around your garden this week? Whatever your garden/green news, we would love to hear about it. Please leave a comment or post us a message on the GiRL Facebook page. I look forward to sharing our garden with you as it grows.
