This Week in the Garden: Fairy Wonderland

Another week of beautiful weather....could it be that spring is almost here? Where has the time gone!  It's still a relatively quiet time for in the garden and since I tackled the big chores last week (although the laundry never ends...) it's be a pretty luxurious week of just enjoying the outdoors.  Earlier this week, I headed out with a camera to take a few snaps of the riot of colour starting to explode across the flowering trees.  It is beginning to look like a fairy wonderland out there. Glorious!  Give it another week or two, weather depending, and the yellow kowhai still start to mingle with the whites and pinks to make it even more magnificent.  What's happening in and around your garden this week?  Whatever your garden/green news, we would love to hear about it. Please leave a comment or post us a message on the GiRL Facebook page I look forward to sharing our garden with you as it grows.

P.S. Today (19 August) is Photography Day, so if your schedule allows and the weather cooperates, why not take your camera and head out exploring?  I'd love to see your photos if you're sharing - feel free to pop a link in the comments or say hellow on social media.  For anyone working on their nature photography skills, we also have some photography tips in our archives to help. Have fun!
